NEUE CHORALSPACE KONFERENZ IN KOOPERATION MIT DEM RUNDFUNKCHOR BERLIN IN SEINEN RÄUMLICHKEITEN BEIM RBB, 21. – 24. APRIL 2022
Wie steht es derzeit um die Chormusik? Und wie steht es um ihr Publikum; welche Wege zu mehr Sichtbarkeit können wir beschreiten? Wie ist heute die Lage von Chorfestivals, Musikverlagen und Kulturförderung – und wie verhalten wir uns dazu? Wie steht es um Inklusion und Diversität in der Chorszene? Welche Rolle spielen Education- und Vermittlungsarbeit?
Mit diesen spannenden Fragen werden sich die Teilnehmer:innen in verschieden Panels und Vorträgen beschäftigen. Ich freue mich, dabei sein zu dürfen, um u.a. über Together - Chor.Leben zu berichten.

As the founder of the vocal band as part of the TOGETHER! -Chor.Life, I was a guest in the podcast Chor.LEBEN -the podcast. The topic: "Susan, how do you found a choir?"
In the first season of the "Chor.Leben" podcast, we talk to choir founders from the project TOGETHER! - Chor.Leben of the German Choir Youth, which aims to found new choirs nationwide that focus on participation and diversity. In the podcast they talk about the hurdles and the sense of achievement, about their methods and how they can also be integrated into other choir projects.
re:mix Youth sings and joins in
I was asked by the German Youth Choir to accompany and actively advise on the re:mix youth sings and mixes in project as part of the project development of the Virtuel Choir World.
Re:mix - youth sings and interferes is a cooperation project of the German choir youth and mediale paths. Together, the largest advocacy group for young singers in Germany and the Association for Media Education are setting out to develop innovative digital methods to strengthen democracy and participation within the association. Over the next four years, we will work to strengthen participatory processes at all levels of youth choirs. Both volunteers who are already active and those who are interested should be supported in their commitment to the German Choir Youth by developing new digital access to decision-making and design processes. Choirs and choir associations are strengthened as places where democracy can be experienced and new forms of participation are tried out.

Vocalband gegründet
A vocal band with boys (between 12 and 19 years old) was founded in Seevethal in cooperation with the youth center Village, under the professional direction of Susan Lahesalu, which offers young people access to cultural participation and guarantees the possibility of holistic musical personality development. The group should see itself as a place for learning democracy and youth participation, where young people get to know their own voice and take on organization and personal responsibility. An intercultural exchange with a choir in Estonia is planned, which will enable young people to experience choral singing as a lived and sung musical variety (e.g. Singer Festival 2022), as well as a cooperation with an NDR project planned for Christmas 2021 under the direction of Michael Zlanabitnik planned.

Endlich singen: Wie sich das an der Schule Alte Forst anhört
(...) „Einen Chor zu gründen, ist ein spannendes Projekt“, sagt Susan Lahesalu. „Kindern Spaß an der Musik und der eigenen Stimme zu vermitteln, steht im Mittelpunkt unserer Bemühungen. Es ist schön, zum Start Unterstützung der Deutschen Chorjugend zu bekommen!“
Von ungefähr kommt die Unterstützung wahrscheinlich nicht: Die umtriebige Frau Lahesalu war lange ehrenamtlich im Vorstand des Hamburger Chorverbandes tätig und ist deshalb gut vernetzt. „Kinderchorland“ – so der Name des Programms der Deutschen Chorjugend – folgt einer Vision: In jedem Ort der Republik soll es einen Kinderchor geben. Ankündigung: SingBus der Deutschen Chorjugend in HH-Eißendorf
Susan Lahesalu konnte mit ihrem Konzept die Deutsche Chorjugend überzeugen und so macht die SingBus-Tour durch Deutschland ihre einzige Station in Hamburg im schönen Eißendorf haben. Der Bus kommt am 24.08.2021 an die Grundschule in der alten Forst. Näheres zu dieser Veranstaltung folgt.
Chor für Jungs in Hamburgs Süden!

In Hamburgs Süden wird nun auch ein Chor nur für Jungs gegründet. Alle singbegeisterten Jungen zwischen Vorschule/ Brückenjahr Kita bis zum Stundentenalter können sich bereits jetzt für den Chor über das Kontaktformular anmelden. Weitere Informationen folgen!
Der Männerchor: Proben wieder aufgenommen
Die Männer der Cantus Eintracht Kirchwerder haben wieder ihren Probenbetrieb aufgenommen. Nach einer cornabedingten Zwangspause kann nun wieder mit entsprechendem Hygienekonzept geprobt werden.
Geprobt wird an jedem Montag ab 19.00 Uhr im Neuenganmer Hinterdeuch 54 in Hamburg. Wer Interesse hat dem Chor beizutreten oder in einer Probe hospitieren möchte, kann sich gern über das Kontaktformular an uns wenden.
