Workshop: Estonian Choral Music

There is a long tradition of choral singing in Estonia. Music, especially singing, has always played an important role in the sense of togetherness among Estonians.

Composers like Arvo Pärt and Veljo Tormis shaped the musical development of the 20th century far beyond the borders of Estonia and made a name for themselves worldwide. It is also worth taking a look at the work of Mart Saar, Ester Mägi, Urma Sisask and Peep Sarapik.

Pärt Uusberg's music is currently an important nucleus of the contemporary development of Estonian compositions.

Would you like to develop works by Estonian composers with your choir? I would be happy to develop - according to your wishes - an individual workshop for the development phase of the respective work. Please send me your request using the contact form.

You have an interest in doing a project with Estonian music under my direction? I am very glad and honoured to share my passion and experience with you. Please send me your request via contact form.
